• The Public Committee Against Torture in Israel (PCATI), a social change organization, acts to increase public awareness of torture during interrogations or under other circumstances. PCATI publishes reports and testimonies on the use of torture and CIDT, the rights of detainees and prisoners, and related issues.
  • PCATI organizes conferences, seminars, film screenings, exhibitions and other public events related to various aspects of human rights, particularly the issue of torture and ill-treatment.
  • PCATI, along with other social change organizations, takes an active part in a variety of events designed to raise public awareness of the struggle against torture and CIDT in our region and worldwide.
  • PCATI has developed an educational program that encourages participants to debate on the use of torture and CIDT and to educate them regarding the need to protect human rights in times of crisis.
